CHAS Accreditation, Application & Registration Help
What is CHAS Accreditation?
CHAS, or the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme, is one of the founding members of SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement) and is recognised by clients and other organisations including the HSE (Health and Safety Executive) as being a Stage 1 Approved Health and Safety Assessment Scheme.
The purpose of the CHAS Accreditation Scheme is to simplify the contractor assessment and pre-qualification process by adopting a common standard in accordance with the competence assessment requirements of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
This allows clients to have an assurance that all CHAS Accredited Contractors have been assessed to a minimum common Health and Safety Standard.
Benefits of CHAS Accreditation
For many organisations, CHAS accreditation is now considered a prerequisite before a contractor is allowed on to a tender list.
Hence as well as health and safety, CHAS now has significant commercial importance as without it, companies can be excluded from tender lists altogether.
We highly encourage you to at least consider completing a CHAS application because it will grant you use of the CHAS logo and get you onto the CHAS database which increases your visibility and customer trust.

Then look no further.
We have a team of experienced health and safety consultants who have supported hundreds of businesses in their CHAS application process.
We specialise in helping small and medium sized companies through the CHAS registration and assessment process to help them achieve CHAS accredited status and use of the CHAS logo.
All of our applications are completed by Chartered Safety Practitioners so you can guarantee a professional and stress-free service whilst also gaining full access to our 24-hour helpline for ongoing safety support throughout the year.
Please note that, despite the claims of some of our competitors, success can never be guaranteed as the CHAS assessment is not carried out by ourselves and depends on a wide number of factors.
