The DDA Access Audit software package has been specifically designed to provide a comprehensive solution to undertake Access Audits as well as providing a comprehensive Action Plan to assist in the management of access issues.

The handheld Pocket PC facility enables information and data to be collected in 'real time' and stored for subsequent downloading onto a desktop/laptop PC. 

The Pocket PC software is capable of storing hundreds of Audits and can help to improve the efficiency and accuracy of data collection in the field. The DDA Access Audit can therefore significantly reduce both the Audit time and the time spent processing Audit data in the office.

The DDA Access Audit is structured around the requirements of the final stage of Part III of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995, which states that service providers may have to consider making permanent physical adjustments to their premises.

 

The software provides prompts for all the key information required under this section of the Act.  This is achieved through the use 'point & click', and pop-up guidance information, which significantly increases the speed and accuracy of data input.

The software enables a detailed Action Plan to be developed which creates a ‘live database’ system for storing and updating information regarding the ongoing monitoring, assessment or changes to the function or accessibility of the building.
